Justice League: Metropolis Rug

When I received the opportunity to work on this rug project, I just couldn’t pass it up. I’ve always loved the DC Comics Pantheon of characters, and to be able to work on the Justice League was just so cool.

I learned so much on this project because of all of the challenges I set for myself. First of all, the client requested it to be a vector file. No problem, I had built vectors for a decade; but I decided to build it on my iPad, on software that I had never used, in an isometric perspective!

The client also wanted for the characters and action to be targeted towards children, so I had to be very conscious to make everyone extra friendly. Additionally, I had to keep details/shadows to a minimum because of the rug printing limitations the machine had, which was quite a challenge but it also made it fun.

I’m proud of how the final product turned out, and the experience allowed me to broaden my skillset.
